Yeah seen the new Pokemon game for Wii on Ign, and even though the video isnt that great, the graphics look next gen.

I like the mountain dew commercial better than that video, and pokemon in general for that matter.

But I guess this is good news for pokemon fans.

Oh trust me, the vid was crap, and I'm not a huge fan of pokemon either:P but it's nice to see a Wii game that has next gen graphics!
And who knows, maybe it might even end up a half decent game

Hey, the graphics do look pretty decent! I personally didn't mind Pokemon on the gameboy, but I'm 19 now lol and I really think this game may be out of my age range :P

Never played the others on N64 etc, only ever played the RPG's on the Gameboy. I was probably 14 or so at the time (maybe less!) and those games in my mind were quality, if a little repetitive. If they made a cool anime RPG then I'd be interested but it kinda looks like they're opting for a Stadium type game again.

Hell yeah, I know I'm too old for pokemon now, but if they released an RPG pokemon for the Wii (with just the original 151 or 152 (can't remember now) pokemon, none of this silver, gold ruby, etc crap) I would definitely get it.
I was a bit disappointed with the video, I mean, the graphics were sweet, but how is the gameplay going to be any different to the Gamecube Pokemon Stadium?

The Video looks pretty neat.. but after the Pokemon Stadium for N64 I haven't bothered with anything Pokemon since.

If they slaped that system in the video into an RPG as the battle system I might just buy it.. but I'm not interested in another stadium style game :\

It would be better if you had some RPG action with random battles and treasure hunting etc with a half decent plot, and then you could enter tournaments at towns and then have the stadiums style of the N64 games as part of the battle system in the tournaments. As for the battle system elswhere, it might be cooler if it was given a shot in real time. Could make things interesting...

Maybe like when I was 10 lol.Of coarse when I was 10 it was power rangers lol that's oldschool.I being 22 now pre-date pokemon.I never understood it cause I hate japer cartoons I'll take good old fashioned bugz bunny and tweety.

Hey though I aint knockin it .I played that stupid power ranger game back in the day when I was 10 and loved it.But I heard the pokemon games sucked even for fans.I hope this one's better.

Maybe they will realize that their original fan base has grown and put out something interesting for the rest of us.

I remember playing Pokemon Blue for the GameBoy.. The original idea was pretty good, everything that came after was either rehash or sucked :\

it looks awesome. Hopefully its a conventional one like the game boy ones that involve going from town to town collecting badges and catching wild Pokemon. If it is, Im getting it.

eh....ok.I don't know where you got all that from, but I never said I liked pokemon in fact just the opposite.Was pokemon even out 10 yrs ago?Ahh who cares lol.I'm not going to bash it's fans though just because I don't like it.

Well I didn't report it but pokemon people can be pretty loyal to pikachu and the gang.That's one of the reasons I'm careful when I post.

Anyways back to topic.My sister watches pokemon and she's 26 years old.All that girl does is watch cartoon network and the other ones.She might like this game if it's good.
