can't get subtitles on

Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

hello uber people of afterdawn, i'm new here so please be gentle =0)

i have a real media (rmvb) movie but i can't seem to access the subtitles through real player one. the video and audio are fine but i can't seem to display the subs. then i tried vlc and in return, it plays the sound and gives me access to subs but i can't get video???

so is there a player out there that can play real media with subs or some sort of codec i need to acquire or is it as simple as turning something on in one of the players???

Hi,

try playing it with media player classic, you also need to have either Vobsub and/or ffdshow installed, upon installtion of these, tick the box to display subs.
