buy a new avi compatable dvd tvtop player , they start out at 40-50 US dollars , its the best way to go !!

the burns are data burns which take minutes vs hours of conversion , and the quality is far greater then converting avi to dvd , at least in my opinion anyway .

with these avi players haveing ben out for so long now its hard to believe that so many are still converting , i guess some folks enjoy watching the progress meter on there conversion apps lol ?

    Hi there,

1 thing I hate about watching a Divx on my DVD Player (Only tested once so bare with me) is you can't jump to 00:55:12 if I wanted to.

I would have to fast forward to that area.

When you have 2 young kids in the house, and need to stop the movie 58.2 times in 15 minutes, features like this are usefull HAHAHAHA !!!

Took me 3 evening once to watch 1 movie :)

Then again, Duck Tape is cheap, maybe I'll tape the kids to the couch and we could watch 1 whole Divx without interruption :)
