    Hi Knyves
To add to saltgass post here's some other things to check out.
Is this a laptop? If so is it a Toshiba, Sony etc. You may have the most current firmware depending on the laptop manufacturer.
But your drive still doesn't recognize the media. Only that they are -R.
Now for the memorex media try switching to some quality ones like Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.

Update your Nero to 6.6.0.18 - this is the last version that will auto burn w/ Shrink. Here's some links:
    Package 1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2 (recode and vision)
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

80% of your memory is in use so no multitasking and shut down any unnecessary proceses.
Uninstall Roxio and run the clean tool. Roxio and Nero don't always play well.
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

You're also burning a 1x - bit of over kill or is that all the drive will allow w/ the media?
hmmmm let's try the sugestions and see if that helps.

Oh and edit out your serial # begins w/ 1A23 - don't need someone else getting it!

Let's see if we can get this drive buring again 1st. Update Nero to the 6.6.0.18 and the firmware.
You can use the link Saltgrass gave or here's one for C105:
    http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1448

Then free up some memory when encoding and burning.

Put a blank in your drive and id the manufacturer. Go to Nero ToolKit>InfoTool>disc tab. Manufacturer will be there.
8x Memorex can be made may 1 or 2 good manufacturers - hopefully you got a good one. Post back the manufacturer.

Let's try this and see how it goes.

I dl'd the firmare for a sony the c105 but it says its not compatible with my drive i checked the drive and its a matshita-uj810 the page has one for that drive but only for a toshiba laptop as for the media all the toolkit says is blank dvd-r no name or date. When i burn a disk i dont do anything else i usually leave it to burn over night. And my comp is only a 1x burner for dvds, and nero only gives me the 1x burn option.

At this point Knyves I would say no. You have some hardware errors in your log that we need to try & get sorted out 1st.
I would up date to 6.6.0.18 though (free).
Since Nero still can't id those discs you may not have a success :(
    But we'll see.
If it fails post the log from that and we'll go from there.
Cheaper than an upgrade to nero 7 would be to try different media (ones listed above).
There are also some free burning programs we can try also if this isn't successful. Your burner may be on the way out. But let's rule out all the possibilities 1st.

    @Knyves
    Not a problem!
When you get some new media look for the ones mentioned above and look for a rated burn speed of 8x or lower.
You're still getting the same hardware errors in this log. Not too good.
Roxio and Nero can conflict so when you pick up some better media uninstall Roxio 1st and run the zapper to remove all traces.
Best to try & rule out all possibilites.
    Keep us posted!

Just an update, I uninstalled and reinstalled nero, un installed roxio and cleaned using the tool, got some sony disks and have had 2 succesful burns in a row. So everything seems to be fine for now, Ill have to do some more burning and see if it stays good. Thnx for all the help guys. Ill post after a few more burns if everything is still going strong.

OK so far ive burned 5 disks perfectly so i guess it was either uninstalling roxio, uninstalling and reinstalling nero or getting some better media that did it thnx a ton guys.

Glad to hear of your continued success!
Could have been a combination of things.
Better media and keeping the firmware up to date are the 2 biggies.
Check for firmware updates in the future and stick with the quality media. For your drive I stick w/ 8x or lower rated media.
    Happy Burning!
