ok i have two computer softwares i guess windows 2000 profesional and xp how do i delete windows 2000 and if i do that do i get space?my drive is 12.9gb
Hi, I assume you have two operating systems on your drive. Go to My computer and see how much data is in the drive(partition) Win 2000. After your done, this is the space that will be avilable. Make sure you transfer all the data you need from the partition or it will be lost. Boot into Win XP. In My Computer, right click the Win 2000 drive and select Format. All the data on the drive will be lost. Format into a file system NTFS,Fat32.......You no should have two prtitions on the drive. One Win XP and the other is now free space for you to use.........hope this helps.
