Can some one please tell em how to get videos onto an iPod nano by using iPl? I have a video iPod but my friend has a nano and he wants videos.

Also, is there anyway to transfer music onto the Linux firmware?

And lastly, once I have installed IPL on my video, after about 15 days of switching between the two firmwares, I noticed that I couldnt switch back to apples original firmware, so I was stuck until I had to completly uninstall the linux or run the restore process. Is there any way to avoid doing this?

Oh ya, when I installed Linux on my 5G video, it said that it had to delete all of my songs, so it could make room for the firmware, but I still had 7 GB left? Does anyone know why it said this?( I have a 30 gig Ipod Video)

    Thanks in advance!!!

I heard that when installing you have to check a box to compress the firmware size. Also, if your friend wants videos i recommend installing floydzilla. just use the ipodlinux file browser and open up floydzilla, and on your computer side, there should be a folder under floydzilla called videos. It doesn't matter where there are, since Floydzilla will play videos anyway. No clue about the music portion, but if you know anything about iBoy on iPod mini maybe you could help me. Also, you need to check the first loader to install on iPl so it automatically boots into the apple firmware, that way you have to hold rewind to do iPl. I ran into the same problem. Hope this helps
