I'm very new to this but have downloaded software for my mobile phone. When I get to the install wizard for the phone, it says I need to say how I want to connect it to the computer. I havew a USB lead and click on this. It won't finish the installation as it doesn't seem to recognise that the phone is connected to the PC. I have also had a very long error message come up. Any ideas please.
Ziggy, I too installed the motorola phone tools and the computer said that the phone wasnt connected to the pc. I then tried using another usb cable and lo and behold the computer recognised the phone straight away. Suggest trying a different usb cable. Richars
