we have a router at work from SBC. it's a 2wire. it is connected to the PC at work via RJ45. and usually i can connect to the internet from my notebook wirelessly. but this whole week it hasn't let me. at first it said that the signal was too low and now it doesn't show any connectivity. i plugged the RJ45 directly into my notebook and it worked fine. i use it at home with my router and it works fine. what could be the problem? thanx in advance for any and all help.

make sure any firewalls are disabled and give it a few seconds then do an ipconfig and make sure it's a 192 ip and not a 169.

the ipconfig thing would be constant wouldn't it? wouldn't that affect my connectivity at home as well?

and it's not the firewall. cause i tried it with the windows firewall, with a new one that i installed today and with no firewall at all.
