Can't make my own dvd

    on nero wen i try to make my own dvd evrything works fine untill i click burn.............then it goes to the status screen where it claims its burning but it has been on 0% for the past like hour and a half.......is this normal????????

    Nope that's not normal.
    Which part of Nero are you using - like Recode, Vision, Express.
    And what version - like 6.6.0.18 or 7.0.8.2?

    I have nero 6.6.0.18..................and i dont really no wat im using.......all i no is that i clicked on make your own dvd

    I'm thinking you picking this under favorites and your using Nero Vision.
    What file types are you adding to the dvd? Like .avi .iso etc.
    Are these downloaded files? Or from a movie you are trying to do?
    Did you check you and make sure you are in DMA mode?

    i added to AVI homevideos that a friend sent me. I'm not sure how to check if my DMA is working properly and your link didnt work.

    i found out how to check my DMA mode and everything seems to be fine.

    See if nero stored a log on this. Look in program files>
    ahead>nero>nerohistory.txt
    Post that (should be last one) just remember to edit out your serial # - begins w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.

    Make sure you are not mutlitasking and shut down any unnecessary programs when encoding and burning.

    Have you had any other problems with Nero or is it just with these files?
