DMA should be enabled on all drives, this could drag your other drives down as well. Here is a guide to solution: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 I would remove this version of Nero with clean tools and reinstall to version 7.0.8.2b in the following link. http://my.afterdawn.com/locoeng/blog_entry.cfm/280 Reduce your burn speed to 4X until you get a clean burn. What brand discs are you using, Nero is not picking up the MID. I have a feeling you drive is just become obsolete, there hasn't been a firmware revision since 2004...so the new discs may never be recognized by this drive.
