I am used to using windows movie maker and recently purchased a sony dvd burner that came with Nero express 6. I am having a difficult time making a dvd that has both videos and still pictures. If I go to the make dvd page I can add video clips but not photos. If I go to make slide show it will let me add pictures but not videos. How do I create a dvd with both, please help. By the way I am very new at this process.
Hi boerner, What I usually do is take the still pictures first and make a slideshow out of them...even if it is just a single picture. I save this "mini slideshow" to a location on my hard drive. Now, when I start putting the video together, I add the slideshow. I make the slideshow without transitions. I put these in while making the video. You could also try this: Add your video files to your project. Once you get them in, select the Back button. Now select "Make Slide Show". Now both the slide show and your video should show in the Content window. To edit one or the other, click the item to highlight it. Select Edit Movie or if you highlighted the slide show, select Edit Slide Show from the right menu. I use the first method but the second one works about the same. The best thing to do is just experiment with a couple of short test projects first. If you can use WMM then NeroVision shouldn't be a problem fo you.
