ok i was busy last night watching charlie and the chocolate factory on my mac mini intel based single core 3 hard drives 512 megs of ram using front row anyways here is what happened i fell asleep half way through the movie when i woke up the movie was over and the screen saver had engaged i set my screen saver to 3 hours anyways i hit the spacebar to trry to leave the screen saver it went back to the dvd menu then snap right back to the screen saver and wouldn't let me do anything weird so i had to do every mac users worst nightmare hit the power button och so i restarted the computer and turned off the screen saver and it solved the problem i just wanted to let people here know that is you are using front row and this occurs just turn off the screen saver
I have had problems with front row and using little snitch. When the demo period expires on litttle snitch it pops up the little window telling me to register (...) front row sometimes fails to respond. It seems to be to do with the quasi-application status that front row runs under. It seems to me that it's somewhere between a 'normal' app and a system process or something (I don't know the correct terms). I hope that with OSX 10.5 the user will be given more control over front row and hopefully that will resolve those problems.
