Nero 7 update and cpu usage

Is it normal to have 100 percent cpu usage during and while nero vision express is transcoding, also why does it take so long for the program start screen to pop up?

 

This appears to be a problem when using Nero 7.2.0.3, what version of Nero7 are you using?

 

Im using Nero 7 Ultra Edition with the last update
I also use a HP pavillion if that matters?

 

The latest update is 7.2.0.3b which is full of bugs, heres my standard reply

These latest versions of Nero are full of bugs, I recommend you uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install 7.0.8.2 a more stable version from here

I have to agree NVE takes extremely long to open in the 7.2.0.3b I removed this and went back to Nero 6, hopefully though the 7.0.8.2 does better. As for the CPU usage it will be 100% of the processor, you can try low priority mode in your settings to see if this will decrease the usage.
