I have Nero Ultra 7.2.0.3b while using Nero Vision 4 my computer just closes down. I have tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling with no difference
Using different files i.e. avi, mpg

Each time the program converts as far in as about 10 mins into the converstion then the computer closes like the plug has been pulled out of the wall. Is there anything you can tell me that will stop this from happening?

After the first few times this happened I reformatted my hard drive 20gig and reinstalled a new updated version and the same thing happened. I then put a new Hard Drive in with 80gig capacity and the same thing happens AHHHH

    Please help me!!!!!!!

You might try posting your NeroHistory log, if there is one. Look in the \Core Directory for a NeroHistory.xxx which is a text file you can post. Take your serial number out, and it may be in several places, and try to edit it down to only the last few full burn tries. You can see were it starts and stops for each burn when you look at it.

I'm guessing you have some type of conflict with a driver, or some software somewhere. Since you said you did a clean install, I would have to assume it was a driver conflict. I am assuming you have no other cd burning software installed. Have you updated the motherboard drivers, or video card driver, or bios recently? Which OS are you running and other specifics about your system.

I guess I could also add, if it always goes about 10 minutes, no matter what type of file you use, maybe your processor is overheating.

I also saw some posts about memory problems causing the computer to shut down. Maybe run a memory test on the machine.
