Hi, so my problem is that I have an established linksys wireless router with a couple windows devices (one wireless, one with an ethernet cable) and I want to connect a third computer(Mac) to the router with an ethernet cord. Unfortunately I dont know much about Macs...is there a system utility or something I can use? What information do I need? etc...

once you hook the mac up to the router just open safari ( web brower) and if it setup right it will get on the net if not wait for a little and network diagnostic will pop up and help you out.

it should work by just connecting the cable but depends on which os you are running
