I have a laptop computer and the soundcard it came with doesn't allow me to change the tone. (bass and trebble levels) does anyone know were i might be able to get a program for free that will allow me to change the bass and trebel settings? Thanks
Regardless if you find software or not, the paper thin speakers in a laptop will never be able to make any kind of real bass. Not enough throw in the cone....plus the magnet weighs about a quarter of an ounce. ~Rich
I stopped using my laptop speaker since last month when they died. Iv been using my "altec lansing" amplified speaker system. It does have bass ajustements on it but my computer isnt meant to output as much bass as my speakers requre for my use. Thanks again
There are dynamic equaliser programs that give you things like that but they use up CPU usage to do it real time so in a game the sound can get choppy. Your best bet for a laptop is to get a sound blaster Audigy external sound card, they're quite cheap and a lot better than anything you can do with integrated sound.
laptops and pc's dont give out the bass, thats the job of your sound system mate. I sometimes hook up my sisters laptop to my amplifier with a 3.5 to Phono cable and it works fine. This laptop was bought in 2000 and has god knows what sound card. Maybe your sound system just aint plain powerful enough.
Nah my system sounds good in Media Player, better in itunes (equaliser) and even better when I had a creative sound card (proper equaliser).
