Well, I haven't seen this before, but some other folks might have. It seems you have MANY entries for each video-I stopped counting at 70. I believe normally you only have 2, one for audio and one for video. My guess would be it is having problems with the file format. I don't know if it matters, but are file designations like 5.5.mpg OK? I am assuming you are starting with about 7 videos. Keep your fingers crossed for another update to come out from Nero. Maybe they will fix some things. Don't go to 7.2.0.3b--it won't help.
OK i have made some progress i think. The problem seems to be to do with the transcoding if i convert the original divx.avi files with womble mpeg video wizard into mpeg2 PAL files they fail in nero vision when transcoding, also if i dump the files directly into the DVD project in nero vision without any converting they fail also. However i convert the files first using convert movie 3.1 nero absolutely flies through the transcoding in about 15 mins whereas with the previous 2 methods nero would stil want to do about 3hrs of transcoding despite the files already having been converted to mpeg2 PAL format. So it looks like nero vision is diabolicly terrible at re-encoding and converting file formats. I did find a previous thread with a couple of people experiencing the same problem and one of the solutions suggested was to use the nero tool to remove the In CD part of nero which i did and rebooted and it managed to finish without failing on the first 6 episodes i was trying to convert and burn however when i went to do the next batch it failed on the same errors on 2 different lots of files and the only way i have managed to make it work is as above with movie converter 3.1 so the problem is definately IMHO to do with how nero vision handles transcoding. If anyone has any further info on this i would liek to hear it. Hope this might help others also. Darren
