is microsoft anti-spyware any good? i heard that you shouldnt get it becuase when you update you could download trojans that hackers have put into the update.

It sucks bro...The first beta was great but the new one is crap.The fact is there are better free one's that do more.ad-aware and spybot are still the best in my book.Also ms anti spy doesn't detect anything hardly... By the way whoever told you about the trojan thing doesn't know what they are talking about.Anything that's made by ms will eventually be a target for hackers especailly if it comes standard on computers(which this doesn't yet.)But that has nothing to do with the update function. go ahead and give it a try..You have nothing to lose But it's not the best out there.The best thing is it's software explorer.
