How do I retrive login and password on my mac os x G4

I was recently given a G4 Mac with OS X
"BUT"
It needs a login id and password, plus HE DOESN'T REMEMBER THEM!
Can someone please help meeeeeeee! Would be much appreciated.

 

you are frankly in trouble with out the password or the osx reinstall cd's you cannot bypass this

sorry apple built this in as a security feature

Do you know where I can get an os x reinstall cd, other than ebay.

 

well since you have an apple and the OS comes with it you can download it from the net. Since you buy the OS when you buy the computer.

 

g4's usaully come with it but if this was a hand me down g4 you will have to buy a copy of os x and your looking around 129 dollers for a copy im sorry to say you are in trouble without restore cds
