I am only learning to do HijackThis logs. I ran your file through a filter at this site - http://www.hijackthis.de/ - and these were the results . . . R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file) - Could also be added by Winfixer/Virtumundo.C - definitely delete it and look in MS Events for Winfixer file (which will be a 5 character .dll name). - Opens additional IE windows with some advertisment . - Adware.NetOptimizer O2 - BHO: BHObj Class - {00000010-6F7D-442C-93E3-4A4827C2E4C8} - (no file) Must be fixed! Unnecessary (deactivated) entry that can be fixed. O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file) If the entry '' is not needed anymore, it should be fixed. Unnecessary (deactivated) entry that can be fixed. O23 - Service: ZESOFT - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe (file missing) These entries shows all services which are not from Microsoft. Often malware is starting as a systemservice and it's not easy to detect it. This service (zeta.exe) seems to be nasty. This is an exact word for word copy of everything that was found to be dangerous. It listed your bittorrent and musicmatch as unknowns but I know those are "good". I would suggest getting a couple tools like Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, WinPatrol, if you dont have them.
