I've got a GeForce 6600 hooked up to my computer, with a DVI output and a VGA output. I want to connect two monitors two my card, so I have a DVI to VGA adapter and plugged them both in. The problem is, if I plug both in when the computer is on, all video output stops,it's as if the card shuts down. If they're both plugged in and I turn the computer on, it makes 5 beeps and again, no video output. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I've updated to the latest nVidia drivers, so it's not that.

If you know anything that can help me, it will be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

You may need to go into your gfx card setup and configure the settings to support dual monitors before it can work like that. You already know it's in the control panel so I won't go any further.
