Okay here is my dilemma i recently bought a 7800 GS AGP i upgraded from a ati 9800pro this is a link to my video-card COhttp://search.ncix.com/displayproductdetail.php?sku=17728&vpn=256-A8-N506-AX&manufacture=EVGA basically my problem is that there is no difference in performance for example i play counter strike source and i drop below 20 FPS k my buddy has a x850xt which is like 2 steps down from my card and he never drops below 40 and everything is on high for him and I'm stuck with frames that are similar to the previous card i had 9800 pro my PC specs xp 2500+ asus a7n8x-e deluxe MOBO 1024 dual channel memory 420watt PSU 7800gs co 256mb AGP yes i have used driver cleaner pro to get rid of the ATI drivers and yes i have updated all related drivers and tried DNA drivers and NGO drivers and no difference please help I'm am very Exhausted and frustrated about this issue
So it's putting up crappy numbers on benchmarking too right?Full scale benchmarking NOT just playing counter strike source?
yes it puts out crappy numbers on all games and benchmarks i started a test in 3dmark 05 and didnt even let it finish cuz the fps was horrible and i was too angry to even look at the result i tried everything that i could think of to fix this
