Mac OS X Q.

I downloaded a version of mac os x and I was wondering if i could burn on to a disc and install it on mmy mac that i can't get into because of a login id password, any response would help a lot since right now my mac g4 is rendered usless to me.

 

why just not buy a new copy?
instead of downloading it?

 

The software cost 150 dollars(acorrding to an earlier post), so I'm trying to save money, I heard that Mac needs a cd key, please say it ain't so, I downloaded it for seven days cuz of almost no seeders.

 

It is $69 for students.

Any kind of student. If you go to an Apple store just say you are a student and you will get the disccount (take your school ID just in case) and if you get it online use the Apple Store for Education.

 

Ok thank you, I guess I'll just save 70 to buy it. kinda stinks, free would of been good but I do like to be legal.
