Ive researched, and probably killed billions of brain cells trying to find out how to copy disk images for my sisters games (my family has a tendancy to... uh-HMM.... lose or break them). If it makes a difference, Im not meaning for any illegal distribution. I would greatly appreciate your help. Oh, and Im using a mac, of-course. Also, how would i make a backup copy of civilization 3?
use disk utility go into disk utility and create a new disk images make sure you select the correct size for the diak image like if the game was on dvd creat a 4 gig dmg if the game is on cd a 600 meg 80 min dmg will work but warning civilazation III requires the original cd in order to run and a copy will not work you would have to find a no cd patch in order for the game to work from a backup so basiclly you need to tell your family to be carefull
Thx, my turmoil has ended! Also, I know you can make a civ. 3 backup, how i yet dont know. Ill research for the patch, and any other ways. And again, thx for the help.
your welcome i know they have a patch because several bad sites have illegal copy s of it choped full of viruses but patched so i know there is a patch
