Hello,i have windows pro and having a pop-up window like "windows can not find scan.msi" after this it is trying to load , it fills the bar but at the end of bar it says it couldnt finish it. it opens me to browse another window and find scan.msi and it is suggesting to find it in a folder name "1" it is not including in windows cd at least in my search i also tried my printer cd incase it was a scanner error.. both didnt work out.. anybody know how to fix this? thanks
A quick google for scan.msi problems, seems to point to a problem with the HP printer/scanner. Others have un installed it and re-installed the software/drivers to fix it. Others have just removed it from the start up config file. start->run type msconfig in run box the choose start up tab. Untick the scan.msi check box and restart the machine. Hope this helps.
Hello , first i tried to search in microsoft site but i could find file.. than i uninstall all hp programs and reinstall them for now everything seems fine if i will have same problem i will update in here.. thank you for help guys..
