I have Nero Version 7 and I can't figure out how to capture a single frame from a dvd. I tried to do it and it seemed to me that you had to have the dvd in a dvd player and pipe it into the computer instead of just playing it through my dvd drive on my laptop. Thanks for any help.
Hello. You can capture frames with either Nero Showtime (the player and easiest approach) or with the editing program NeroVision Express. In Showtime, there's a "Capture Frame" command on the menu. You have to set the destination/type of capture. Select Configuration from the menu. Expand the General category and select Capture. Select the type and destination.
I know that my question was very basic and I should have been able to figure it out myself, but I couldn't. Thank you for taking the time to help me out. Clyde
you can also use DVD Shrink Re-Author feature to capture "clips" from copy protected DVD's. That's the main reason I keep it around.
