then reconstruct them menus and all on the receiving end.

Similar to what ratDVD does but I need a decoupled encrypter and decrypter. I dont need it to defeat copy protection but I do need it to be either unbranded or branded to me.

Is there a library or codec available that can do this? Is the one rat uses available? (so I can build my own front end)

I am not positive a about this fact, but I thought the new version of DVIX would allow you to keep sub titles and menus.

it will but you miss the point...I need it to be able to be upconverted back to full DVD5 or 9...so that it will play on any DVD player
