sony enx-26 Help Please!!!!

    i took the multimedia video controller out of a trashed sony viao front says enx-26 on the back says pcva-1mb5a. i have located drivers and installed them.. now i am lost on how i can watch my cable telivision with it on my computer. i have hooked up the cable from the wall to the card in my computer. is there some type of software i need to get this to work>? any info will be helpful. thanks
