I just partitioned my external hd to ntfs, and was wondering what else do i have to do to be able to save files onto it. I'm kinda new to all this so I really have no idea. My computer runs windows, and that's why i want ntfs so i can use this hd on windows also. Thanks for the help

i formatted it and it says its healthy, but i still can't access it under mr computer. I right clicked on My Computer>manage>disc manager, and then formatted it there. But still, it won't work. Anyone know what the problem is?

Actually i just figured it out, didn't assign it a letter before... Heh. Thanks for the help though.
