If this question should be in another forum please tell me, I'll repost. I'm trying to break up a AVI file into chapters on the "author" option of Arcsoft showbiz dvd. I can play the file and see the video while it plays but when I pause it to set a thumbnail or set the chapter the screen where the video plays turns green. If I make a thumbnail off the green screen is shows up as green on the menu screen. If I press play again it plays normally but everytime it stops it goes green.
It makes a HUGE difference if the avi file is located on the hard drive. I had a similar problem (not green but black). However, I was trying to use the file when it was located on a CD-R. If it's already on the hard drive, then it MAY be that your comp is slow or that the file is really big. Hope this helps!
