Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem using these codecs for my subtitles. When I play my movie it is fine in media player, the problem is more of when I try to put the subtitles on my movie permanently so I can convert it to DVD. I was following the guide here http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/153058.php and everything went well until I tried to open the video with the Direct Show File Reader option set as the top priority. The taskbar icons for the 2 codecs would come up and then I'd get an error pop up from Windows and TMPGEnc closes on me. I tried using another guide earlier and it needed me to convert the .srt file to .ssa when I tried those icons would come up and I'd get the program closing error again (I also tried using ConvertXtoDVD and when converted I'd have no subtitles and I'm positive I did everything correct.). I have had the codecs installed as part of K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.53 so I didn't download and install them individually.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows a way to fix it. If this is the wrong forum for this type of question I'm very sorry, being that it is a subtitle issue (Or at least I think it is.) I thought here was the proper place to ask.

Nevermind, I got it to work by downloading and installing the codecs individually.
