Looking at today's amazon.com listing, most titles including Paramount are $19.95. Some are $23.95, $27.95, or $29.95. The combo discs (DVD on one side and HD-DVD on the other side) are usually more expensive. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_pg_1/102-4832354-0598511?ie=UTF8&rh=n:16295741&page=1
The same presentation can be passed over HDMI v1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 by first converting to uncompressed PCM. Converting to PCM or passing 8 channel PCM data via HDMI is somthing all the next gen players are to do (if they support the decoding of the format at all, of course). All receivers that except HDMI audio should be compatible with high res 8 channel PCM. Ced
