Picture OK, but no sound with AVI - (On DVD player not PC)

    Hey,

    I have seen another post regarding the issue of picture but no sound when playing AVI files....But my problem is relating to playing the AVI file on a DVD player not a PC.
    The AVI files play perfectly on another DVD player, but on this Samsung DVD player the picture is perfect but no sound at all??!!

    Please...Can anyone help??

    By the way...The dvd player is a Samsung DVD-HD850.
