nero burn speed

    I am using DVD shrink along with Nero. When shrink is ready to use Nero I can't change the burn speed, it is set at 16x. I tried to open Nero under extras and system info to change the speed but am unable to. How can I change the burn speed to stay at 8x or lower so that I can stop getting the "burn process failed" message?

    @ drock72,

    if u are using shrink to burn with nero then u have to change the write speed in shrink.

    when you are in shrink and u hit the BACKUP button that box comes up
    backup DVD, when it comes up u have to go to the Burn Settings Tab, all the way to the right, there is where u can select the burn speed
