Looking for help on how to make a backup copy of a movie I purchased. The movie is The Detonator released by sony. I have tryed AnyDVD with 1Click DVD Copy, both are the lastest versions. I have also tryed DVD43 with DVD-cloner III both the lastest versions. When I try to play the movie on any dvd player the picture sometimes looks choppy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
What media are you using and at what burn speed did you burn? You need to un-install dvd43 as anydvd and dvd43 conflict with one another and could be one reason for why it came out choppy. The main reason is down to poor media, use Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim the two best brands of blank media IMO. How much compression was needed for the movie? 1click dvd copy is not the best transcoder out there. Shrink (free) and nero recode will give you a better picture with the correct settings.
i did the detonator awhile back with clone2 and anydvd. i think it was version 5.6.3.1 for anydvd so it has been awhile back. i didnt have any problems.the best i can remember is there wasnt much compression at all. try using dvddecrypter to read in iso mode(anydvd running) then run through shrink and burn. if u dont have clone2 u might have to run it through vob blanker to get shrink to open it.
You will have to set up DVDD properly or they will conflict here is how: Tools, settings, I/O and select ElbyCDIO Tools, settings, CSS, CSS cracking method select NONE Tools, settings, General, untick check for structure protection
