Hi Guys, I just bought half life 2 off one of my mates for my pc. I've never really used my PC for games as i have a ps2 and gamecube. But i have a usb adapter that allows me to use a ps2 contoller for pc games. My question is that is there an option in half life 2 that will allow me to use my ps2 contoller instead of the keyboard and mouse? Im so used to the ps2 contoller that its very difficult for me to use any other method to play. Thanks for any replies.
Erm...no! Why would you want to play it with a PS2 controller!!?!? Mouse and keyboard are the best controlls for FPS and RTS games!! You will have to use a mouse and keyboard...its accutally MUCH simpler than a PS2 controller and also you will find it becomes more suitable for FPS games than like "lock ons" on PS2 games!
Its just that im used to using a controller, but thanks for ur reply. will try and get used to the keyboard and mouse.
go to tucows and search for game profiler there is free one on there then you can mimic the kb and mouse with the ps2 controller, save you having to mess with the older style way of the pc game nerd
