    hi there,
i just bought a xbox(i know its a bit late)
i wanna chip it to play back-ups plus i would like to have divx playback on my xbox,
is there any particular modchip that does this best?

does the Xecuter 2.6 CE Mod Chip do both the above? what would be your opinion??

    nice one,

Xecuter3..ultimate, but the 2.6 does everything as well..It's not really the chip..it's the codecs in XBMC that deal with playing virtually every type of audio/video file..even m4a.. For chip install tuts and modding in general.. find the llamma lol

P.S. i should also mention that your chip has nothing to do with what media (DivX) it will play, that is all up to the media players you put on it.
Just get the chip install, go download an auto installer like Slayer 2.6 or the newer AID 3.0 (auto installer deluxe)
then sit back and marvel at all the things you have on your Xbox after you use it.
BUt the standard XBMC should have no problem with DivX or AVI files, standard Video-TS files either.

XBMC codecs pack..Goes in the mediaplayer folder in XBMC and deals with just about everything (except vox files, but who uses those anyway?)

yea XBMC is a dream, it plays VOB files perfect and all Xvid/Divx all the new T3CH releases play moreless everything and have rss feeds as well from xbox-scene.com you can even set it to show your weather..lol and stream files from your pc to your xbox....
