So if you may remember my thread about having sound sync problems... well, I figured it out, and WinAVI was my solution, it was the only converter that fixed it.

So I have 4 episodes of a show in AVI format that I converted with WinAVI, and it created a seperate Title for each. I played the DVD folder in Showtime, and it played great, I just had to skip through title to title to get to the next episode, fine with me.

So it plays great, so I decide to burn it. I burn the DVD just as I have many times before, making a standard DVD. When I play it in my dvd player, the first title plays perfect. Then I go to the next title, to watch episode 2. It is completely silent, no audio, the only title that has audio is title 1. It plays great playing from the Video_ts folder on my hard drive but I have the silence problem on all titles other than 1 on my home DVD player.

Also, just to let you know, there is NO data in the "audio_ts" folder, that was the first thing I though of that could be wrong, but WinAVI created no data in there.

Where did that audio go?! It has to be there since it played perfect from the hard drive "video_ts" folder. I burned that same data that played perfectly directly onto a dvd.

The disk doesn't play on your standalone dvd player;does it play in your PC?

I had no solution to the original problem.

I just loaded all the files into ConvertX to DVD... and wow... a perfect, beautiful DVD with 5 great episodes per disc, and no audio problems. Very happy with ConvertX to DVD... BUY THAT PROGRAM and support that company.

Possibly try a different program, it all depends on the program you are using.

Also, make sure you have a current version of ConvertX, I hear in the later versions they fixed a lot of sync problems.

-Is the audio in-sync when you play the AVI file normally?

I just had that exact thing happen to me - only title 1 has sound. Does anyone with WinAVI experience have a solution other than buy a new program?
