Just curious if anyone else has heard this before. I was just told by my Cingular rep that using a GFCI (ground fault) circuit would or could upset the charging circuit in my phone. His comment was that while it didn’t happen with all phones, they have noticed that more often than not when there is a battery problem, the charger was plugged into a GFCI outlet. I’m not trying to expand this myth, GFCI outlets simply have NO effect on chargers, I’m just taking a poll to see if anyone else has heard this before. I live in the Midwest, anyone else in the country heard this yet ?

Never heard that one. I know that the GFCI will save you but if you fry your self. I have never heard of any problems with them.
