im oc my pentium d 930 presler from 3ghz to 3.82 the fsb is at 255 and the ram is going at 510mhz but if overclock ex to 256 fsb the ram will jump from 510mhz to 727 (give or take)and of course it will crash. there are 4 options for ram in my mobo auto,400,533,667 if i put it in 400,533,or auto it will jump to 727mhz the ram and eventually crash so is there anything i could do to overclock it more?

    I have a 2*512mb 533mhz

you have 512mg of ram total?
also, instead of increasing just the rams speed, try tightning the latensy..
that might give you that extra boost..

its not that big of a deal. why stress it?
why take the risk of frying it?
have you raised to volts and tried raising the mulitplyer or the freqency?

the ratio is locked (15)raising the volts isnt the issue the problem is the ram
