I would very much like to know that is it possible to connect Logitech z5300 to and kind of DVD player since this speaker system seems to have a very limited plugins. I would like to use them as home theatre speakers.

You would need an A/V receiver, and I'm not sure they would stand up to the power output of a receiver.
Best way to use these for home theater, is to put a 5.1 surround card in your computer. It will have the right inputs.
I have the same speakers, and like them a lot. But, they [bold]are[/bold] computer speakers, and not home theater speakers.

I have the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum sound card, with these speakers hooked up to it. Movies sound very good in surround, through these. I also have a home theater system, in the living room. Sometimes, I let my wife watch tv in living room, and I'll watch a movie, in 5.1 surround, in the computer room.

I won this set from the competition few years back and I'm not goin to use them with my computer, since I use the computer only for work, surfing and poker. The set is wonderful when I tested it, so this is why I would like to use them to my home theater.
