do a fdisk using win98 bootdisk, delete partition, make a new partition than format.

umm ddp what is a fdiscand can it whip outthe hwhole drive with out usinga boot cd? CAuse i have a problem where i cant even reinstall or go to my destop so would this wrk???

fdisk is a dos command. you use it to delete or make a partion or both. is on a win98 or me boot floppy disk or bootable win98/me cd.

it will allow you to format your hard drive, preparing it to put a new copy of Windows on the drive or use it for storage purposes as a slave/backup drive.
