finding key on computer

    Hello, i have the game Counter Strike: Source on my computer and i want to install this game on my laptop. I lost my product key so i cannot. Is there a way to look on my computer registry or something to recover the lost product key so i can use it on my laptop? Thank You!

    hmmm.I dunno if it's stored on the pc.

    You could try the search function in windows and search for the number itself

    Almost all games store the license keys somewhere in the registry setting they create..
    I can't tell you where to look, as i don't have CSC, but i'm sure someone here knows the answer

    When you installed CS you should've created a steam account with your cd key. To reinstall it you just need to install the steam client and enter your username and password.
