    Hi,
I`ve just put two avi CD`s together and burned them as one with to DVD with Nero.
The picture quality is fine but the sound is very quiet.
Is there a program I can run the DVD through to boost the volume?

as to this question it sounds like you don't have surround sound system, but the audio is more likely an ac3 5.1 surround or something like that. a good 2 channel audio file should fix this trick if you recode its audio and recompile the dvd.

I had forgot to mention a helping tool to fix the audio didn't i. you can try TmpgEnc's audio converter, or dbpoweramp which i beleive both have its own trial limitation time limit.
