hi. i've always used file mode to burn my dvd backups. is there any particular advantage to using the iso mode? i believe imgburn can only burn an iso. i have several burning softwares, but just wondering the pros and cons of iso vs. file mode. thanks.

You mean File Mode as in VIDEO_TS? I prefer VIDEO_TS because I can edit the movie (i.e. have VobBlanker blank, edit/cut/strip out anything that I don't want).

However, the choice is yours. ISO or VIDEO_TS is just a preference that's all. If I'm ripping and backing up PS2 games, then I'll surely use ISO.

Agreed man. If your just Doing DVD movies then your good with TS_video mode. But others like games, programs... use ISO.
