Basically im trying to fit this hard drive into a dell dimension 8400,

    Samsung T133 300GB S300 7200RPM 8MB

i have no idea how to do it and the dell manuals have just confused me more. Once i actually fit it into the computer do i have to put it into some sort of special format such as a certain raid setting and do i have to format it.

this will be a second hard disk on the system.

thanks for any help in advance.
