I need some help? I just bought a new laptop,and want to be able to move around the house and use the internet,(wireless)I have a desk top in my home den that get the internet through cable, What do i need? The laptop already has wireless capablitys? I figured i could do this i called bestbuy and they wanted to send the geek squad out and charge me a ton of $$$$, I think i can do this on my owne if someone would steer me in the right direction.
All you need is a wireless broadband router. I have a Linksys WRT54G and it works great. You can get it at Circuit City for about $50.
