how can you shrink down a movie to 800mb? thats crazy. One of these movies from limewire was only 800mb and it was decent quality. (im not a pirate though because i went out the next day and bought the dvd) So im wondering, how do you get a dvd that small while keeping decent quality?

    thanks

The movie would have been in avi format. An avi is just a container for the file, much like a rar. When that avi is encoded, you are actually decompressing it. You could not maintain any kind of quality if the file was encoded to a small size. More bitrate equals a larger encoded file but better quality.

There must be but I have no knowledge of how it's done. Hopefully, someone can add that info.
