i was wondering if it is possibal to make your own very simplified bios for a motherboard.
say a bios that could only be used for coping discs or printing somthink , bacically a very very simplified bios thaat is diffrent to the main bios's that come with motherboards.

well the type of processes i am intested in are very very basic e.g playing a dvd movie or playing music, coping dvd \ cd's to a blank dvd \ cd, being able to transfer files via diffrent medias e.g from a flash drive or usb drive to yoru hardrive.

bacically very simpel tasks like that

a really simpel bios that only has the power to copy a dvd or disc to a blank dvd or disc.

because theres a trick behind that if it goes susessful everyone would e very very happy.

but now i think of it dosent the acually dvd drive have firmware and bios of its own? if it does i would hav e to find a way to make my own for that aswell.
