Emachines DEAD Need Help!!!!!!

    My sister has a Emachines T3406 and the other night we had a bad storm late that night. Well the next day the PC was on but the only thing that was running was the fans and you cant shut the PC off with the button you have to pull the plug. I brought it over to my place and hocked it up to my monitor and it says no signal. Any help would be great.

    wow we have the same thing almost the same problem my was 2 day ago....this sucks

    Maybe they put little green men in the Emachines. LOL

    try another psu but disconnect all drives & cards except videocard & 1 stick of ram. try clearing cmos as have found that to kick start systems.

    Did you have any type of UPS/surge/power conditioner to protect the PC? You may have cooked some stuff if you got hit with a power spike.

    Yes it was behind 2 surge protectors. I have an extra power supply. I'll try it and see. Thanks
